Kyroe "I'm 20 years old and a rapper, songwriter and producer born in West London, living in Hanwell, studying Music technology at West Thames College and attending the University of Hertfordshire this September. For my live shows, I am passionate and willing to do what I need to do to fulfill my job as a performer and give the audience as much as energy as I can, for them to give it back. All my songs are designed to connect with people's emotions and to take them on a journey through the concepts I write. The genre of music I represent and am passionate about is Hip Hop and as a rapper and songwriter I have the confidence and will-power to talk to people with ease. Being a good listener, with the ability to be inviting enough to be listened to, only helps as my life long goal is to do this all my life, become successful and live from the art I'm passionate about."

Mad Stick Dog
Grenville Horner and Fleur Whitlock started out playing a few fiddle and mandolin tunes together on a northern door step and from that, Mad Stick Dog was born. As a duo, they dipped their toes in the open-mic waters around Richmond and gradually lured in three more great musicians: Steve Van Deller (cuatro, banjo and vocals), Al Brock (electric double bass) and Bob Baker (cajon). Now this talented five piece deliver a foot-tapping traduitional repertoire of Cajun, Celtic and Old Time tunes whenever and wherever they can!

Nessles Nessles is an up and coming singer/songwriter from Hounslow, West London with acoustic folk/rock/blues style. 2nd place winner of Hounslow Has Talent 2014, Nessles has also been scouted by BBC's "The Voice" series 4 and new Channel 4 show, "Singer Takes It All". Nessles, also a guitarist, surprisingly, has had no formal musical or vocal training but her voice is strong and her lyrics are powerful; she writes songs, which resonate strongly with the human condition. Her funny songs really make you laugh and her sad ones really make you cry...!

Spriggan Mist
|
Progressive folk rock band, Spriggan Mist, is the brain child of husband and wife founder members Maxine and Baz Cilia. This six piece delivers an eclectic mix of overdriven guitars with more traditional instruments such as recorders, cello, bouzouki and saxophone, all underpinned by a rock based rhythm section. Spriggan Mist are.. Ann–Mari Thomas –Lead vocals As a live act, "Spriggs" (as they are affectionately known to their faithful) don’t just play a gig but put on a show. Their energetic high kicking, foot stomping performances bring to life a world of traditions and magic which is often dark and sinister.... It is all that is familiar to us but which nonetheless stirs something within us that is not only less familiar but can at times take you beyond the constraints of this world. This is delivered by the band clad in eye catching Steam Punk garb completing the spectacle of the Spriggan Mist experience.

About the Brentford Festival Main Music Stage
Brentford Festival is a non-profit making, family and community event with a primary aim of bringing the local community together and allowing them to discover their local parks and the facilities, groups and activities available to them in their area. It is run by volunteers and musical performances are primarily intended for local performers as a showcase and are currently not paid (so locals applying to perform will have an advantage).
